Material Sourcing

We use conflict free diamonds and SCS certified recycled precious metals. We also offer Canadian mined diamonds, lab-created diamonds, and moissanites:

  • Canadian diamonds are the gold standard for ethically sourced natural diamonds. They have been meticulously tracked from mine to finished gem.
  • Lab-created diamonds are man-made, but are chemically and physically identical to mined diamonds. They are real diamonds that have been made in a lab.
  • Moissanites are similar to lab-grown diamonds in that they are man-made. We offer colored moissanites, so you may want to consider a moissanite engagement ring if you are looking for a fancy colored stone.

Custom wood engagement rings made from a warship boat.

Our rings are inlaid with wood from a very old ship that holds a lot of meaning for me and and my fiancee. I provided small piece of wood and Nate was able to inlay it after trying two different methods. He was very communicative about how the project was going every step of the way. We had a fantastic experience with Casavir…

Custom wood and silver wedding bands

Casavir Jewelry was kind enough to make me a custom wooden wedding band to fit around my engagement ring. I have always loved the combination of silver and wood and was instantly drawn to his work.

Gold and wood engagement ring with mahogany inlay.

The mahogany with 14K white gold ring is very meaningful since it was the same wood type used for my childhood bed frame. I love the low profile of the gems because it makes wearing them practical for day to day use, but classy enough to be a memento. Even if that special Union Day never happens, I will always cherish the meaning behind these rings.

Bought this for five year anniversary. Wife absolutely loved it. Looks amazing and Nate did a fantastic job with the customization of it to fit around her engagement ring. Highly recommend these hand crafted rings.

An image of a koa wood ring.

They were awesome to work with me on customizing the wood that I wanted. Also, worked closely with me on my timeline and the logistics of shipping. I was able to pull off my 5 year anniversary surprise thanks to their efforts! Would definitely work with them again on my next piece of jewelry.

A pair of custom wood wedding rings made with elder and alder wood.

It was a pleasure working with Nate start to finish on our custom wedding rings. He was attentive and helped us pinpoint every detail. We wanted the symbolism of elder and alder wood, and he took care to make sure it was the right type of wood – ordered all the way from Europe! We are both so thrilled, the rings turned out exactly how we hoped they would. Thank you Nate and Casavir Jewelry!
